We are delighted to announce two new additions to our partner team. Christian Schmitt joined Moore TK as a partner on September 1st to head our audit practice in Mannheim. On October 1st, Kai Wiedwald, a former colleague, returns to Moore TK in Mannheim as a partner in our tax consulting practice.
With Christian and Kai, we are gaining two highly experienced individuals who are an excellent fit for Moore TK, both professionally and entrepreneurially. Their diverse areas of expertise will provide crucial impetus for the further development of our auditing and tax consulting services. At the same time, these two new partners allow us to lay the groundwork early for long-term succession planning and a smooth generational transition at our Mannheim location, thus ensuring continuity in leadership and client service.
Christian Schmitt is a certified public accountant and tax advisor with many years of experience in auditing and extensive expertise in auditing annual and consolidated financial statements – particularly for medium-sized industrial companies and internationally active companies in both inbound and outbound sectors. He also brings valuable experience from diverse professional perspectives: After several years in auditing at a Big Four firm, he served as Head of Accounting at a leading management consultancy and most recently as a partner at an auditing firm.

Kai Wiedwald is already well known to many at Moore TK: He worked as a tax advisor and auditor at our Mannheim office several years ago and subsequently gained further experience at another tax consulting and auditing firm in the region before returning to Moore TK as a partner. Throughout his career, he has focused on ongoing consulting and structuring advice for medium-sized businesses, inbound tax consulting, and business valuations, accumulating extensive professional, entrepreneurial, and leadership experience. With his many years of experience and his close ties to Moore TK, he will be instrumental in further developing our national tax consulting practice and shaping the long-term development of our Mannheim office.
